Eastern Health was seeking advanced communication solutions for the new, state-of-the-art Box Hill Hospital. “We wanted to provide the right technology that supports seamless communication between nurses and patients, enables EMR access by the bedside, and provides access to entertainment, communication and information services to all patients,” said Alison Harle, Chief Information Officer, Eastern Health.
The hospital redevelopment team selected the Rauland Responder®5 hospital communication system and the HiMed Cockpit point-of-care terminals for bedside entertainment and EMR access. “These systems need to support us for many years to come and we feel confident that the solutions provided by Rauland will do just that,” said Eileen Hamblin, Change Manager, Box Hill Hospital.
